A
very interesting paperback volume from Tsukuba University's Dr. Shogo Misawa,
one of Japan's leading figures in the field of forensic medicine. Chock-full
of interesting first-hand anecdotes, this 1998 book does a good job of showing
how the work of the medical examiner plays an important role in murder investigations.
This book is a good read and the content is presented in a simplified way and
directed toward a target audience of laymen, making this a relatively easy book
even for the non-native reader.
