Written
in the form of the diaries of two female cowokers tracking down the truth
behind the grisly murder of their boss, "Garasu No Shiro" stands
out from Matsumoto's other works in being written in the first person voice.
Typical in that the last third of the book leaves you wanting him to wrap
up, at the same time it leaves you both admiring him and wanting to wring
his neck for the deception you learn he has been playing on you.
