Have you always believed that Japan is a beautiful idyllic country? Well, it is.....except for the places where it ain't. Japan has the same problem about where to put all its refuse as any other country has.Old refrigerators, washing machines, and the like can sometimes be found in scenes like this one in Saitama. In addition to the problem of disposing of large items, there is the even larger problem of litter. Many people in Japan love to keep their cars spotless, and one easy (and thoughtless) way of doing this is to just toss everything out the car window, no matter where they happen to be. All along the most travelled roadways there is an astounding amount of drink cans, convenience stores bags, cigarette butts, magazines, and other assorted debris.
