No, the bed of this small dump truck isn't warped. The truck has been put on display this way to emphasize one of its features. This type can dump not only to the rear, but to either side as well. It may seem pretty pointless, but there are times in doing road construction in Japan when the side-dumping feature precludes blocking off the whole roadway in order to dump a load of dirt or gravel.
