Two
on a bicycle is a very common sight in Japan. Some shops even sell extension
pegs to go on the ends of the rear axle bolts. The pegs make it easier to stand
on the axles and ride. It is also not unusual to see a girl pedalling away with
her boyfriend seated on the rear of the bike.
